An outstanding organisation based in Waltham Abbey are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their growing finance team. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare bank statements and ensure accurate and timely bank allocations
- Process purchase invoices
- Scan and manage purchase invoices within the document management system
- Process employee expenses via Concur
- Perform daily bank reconciliations
- Prepare month-end journals for review
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, including calculating depreciation
- Prepare and analyse daily commercial reports
- Assist with stock reconciliation and provisioning
- Support the Finance team with ad hoc tasks as required
What You Will Bring - AAT qualification (minimum requirement)
- Intermediate Excel skills, including lookups, IF statements, and pivot tables
- Strong IT literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications
