Travel & Tourism Tutor (Temporary / Part-Time)

Days: 3 days per week – Monday, Tuesday & Friday

Contract: Temporary, ongoing

Reason for cover: Sickness absence – initially until half term, with potential extension

Location: Preston

We are currently seeking an experienced Travel & Tourism Tutor to provide temporary sickness cover within a Further Education setting. This is a part-time role, delivering engaging lessons and supporting learners to achieve their qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver planned Travel & Tourism lessons to FE learners
  • Support learners’ progress, engagement, and achievement
  • Complete associated marking, assessment, and basic administration
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience teaching Travel & Tourism in an FE or similar setting
  • Relevant teaching qualification (or working towards)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Availability Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays

All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
