Workshop Controller in Swindon - Pembrook Resourcing

Location: Swindon

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic (DOE)

OTE: £42,000 – £45,000+

We are recruiting on behalf of a busy and well-established dealership in Swindon for an experienced Workshop Controller. This is a key position within the Aftersales department, responsible for overseeing workshop efficiency, productivity and quality control.

You will act as the link between the Service Department and Technicians, ensuring work is allocated effectively and completed within agreed timeframes.

• Allocating work to Technicians to maximise productivity
• Monitoring workshop efficiency and utilisation
• Supporting diagnostics and technical queries where required
• Ensuring jobs are completed within deadline and to manufacturer standards
• Quality control checks before vehicle handover
• Liaising with Service Advisors regarding work progress
• Managing WIP (Work in Progress) and workshop loading
• Ensuring health & safety compliance within the workshop

• Previous experience as a Workshop Controller / Senior Technician / Workshop Supervisor
• Strong technical knowledge and workshop process understanding
• Ability to manage and motivate a team
• Organised with strong attention to detail
• Full UK Driving Licence
