Temporary Warehouse Operatives – Tamworth 

People Solutions are currently recruiting for temporary Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in Tamworth during their busy peak period. 

This is a temporary position during the period leading up to Valentine's Day.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, weekly pay and genuine opportunities for regular seasonal work. 

Shifts: 

• Working afternoons between Monday to Sunday 
• Shift time: 13:00 – 23:00

Pay rate: 

• £13.29 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties: 

Your duties as a warehouse operative will be: 

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently, including gift vouchers, card, balloons, personalised mugs
• Carrying out regular stock checks and maintaining accurate records 
• Preparing, labelling, and packaging items for dispatch 
• Moving and organising stock safely within the warehouse 
• Following health and safety procedures at all times 
• Using handheld scanners and other warehouse equipment as required 
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment 
• Meeting daily performance and KPI targets 
• You must be comfortable handling packaged alcohol 

Essential Skills: 

The skills needed to be a Warehouse Operative are: 

• Basic level of English (spoken and written) 
• Reliable with good timekeeping 
• Strong communication skills 
• Ability to work well as part of a team 
• Positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude 
• You must pass a basic English and numeracy test 
• You must be able to prove your right to work in the UK 

Desirable Experience: 

• Previous warehouse or packing experience 
• Experience using handheld scanners or similar warehouse technology 

Training: 

• Full training provided with ongoing support and development
