The firm focuses on providing bespoke financing solutions to high-quality, private equity-backed businesses across the UK and Europe. Key Responsibilities

Investment Analysis & Execution

  • Support the full lifecycle of the investment process, including origination, due diligence, structuring, financial modelling and credit analysis.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, run sensitivities, and assess credit metrics to evaluate risk and return.
  • Contribute to the preparation of investment committee materials, including credit papers, financial summaries, and risk assessments.
  • Assist in coordinating third-party due diligence (commercial, financial, legal and operational) and synthesizing findings.

Portfolio Management

  • Monitor existing portfolio investments, including reviewing monthly/quarterly reporting packages, updating financial models, and tracking covenant compliance.
  • Prepare regular internal portfolio reviews and identify early warning signs or value-creation opportunities.
  • Participate in amendment processes, refinancings, and follow-on financings where required.

Market & Deal Sourcing Support

  • Conduct sector research to support sourcing and underwriting across a range of industries, with a focus on sponsor-backed transactions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with private equity sponsors, advisors, and other market participants alongside senior team members.
  • Contribute to the team's market intelligence by tracking deal flow, competitor activity, and broader credit trends.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Background

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in leveraged finance, private credit, direct lendin, or a related credit-focused role.
  • Strong technical skills, particularly in financial modelling, credit analysis, and understanding of debt structures.
  • Prior exposure to sponsored transactions is highly advantageous.

Skills & Attributes

  • Exceptional analytical ability with strong attention to detail.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a lean, collaborative environment.
  • Commercial mindset with a strong drive to develop as an investor.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and work ethic.

What the Role Offers

  • Exposure to complex, high-profile private credit transactions across Europe.
  • A supportive environment with direct access to senior investment professionals.
  • Opportunity to develop strong underwriting, structuring, and portfolio management skills.
  • A long-term career path within a growing and well-respected credit platform.
