This is a prime opportunity to work on complex, high-value deals across multiple sectors and jurisdictions, providing strategic tax advice that directly impacts clients' business outcomes.

The team advises corporates, private equity, real estate and energy clients on transactions ranging from £10m to over £10bn. You'll gain exposure to buy-side and sell-side due diligence, structuring, refinancing, IPOs and cross-border deals, all while collaborating with senior colleagues and key stakeholders.

Your role

  • Deliver practical, high-quality tax advice on complex UK and international M&A transactions

  • Support business development, pitches, and proposals

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, working closely with internal teams and external advisers

  • Lead or contribute to technical tax analysis across corporate, indirect and international tax matters

  • Coach and develop junior colleagues, sharing expertise and experience

  • Stay ahead of tax developments and apply insights to real-world deal situations

Who we're looking for

  • CTA, ACA/CA, or equivalent qualified

  • Strong UK corporate tax knowledge, with an understanding of cross-border and wider tax matters

  • Proven experience in M&A or transaction tax, ideally in a Big 4 or top advisory environment

  • Ambitious, commercially minded, and passionate about working on complex deals

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders and build lasting client relationships

Why this role stands out

  • Work on high-profile, multi-sector transactions across the UK and internationally

  • Fast-paced, dynamic environment with significant career progression opportunities

  • Collaborative, high-performing team culture with exposure to senior client relationships

  • Competitive salary, bonus, car allowance and full benefits
