Management Accountant Temp 2 Perm in London - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited

Your new company A well-established, family-owned business based near King's Cross, with a strong reputation for providing quality products to the market they specialise in. As the business continues to grow, we are seeking a hands-on Management / Finance Manager to join us on a temporary to permanent basis.
Your new role This is a broad and varied role, ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys being involved in both financial management and operational decision-making. You will work closely with the owners and senior stakeholders, providing clear financial insight while helping to improve processes and controls across the business.
Key Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for day-to-day financial management
• Preparation of management accounts, budgets and forecasts
• Cashflow management and financial planning
• Overseeing accounts payable and receivable
• Liaising with external accountants, auditors and advisors
• Producing financial reports to support business decisions
• Reviewing and improving financial processes and controls
• Supporting wider operational and management activities as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in a finance or management accounting role
• Comfortable working in a small to medium-sized, owner-managed business
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Confident communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• Hands-on, adaptable and proactive
• Part qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or qualified by experience
