Client-Focused Financial Adviser (SJP Partner Practice)

Location: North London

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE) + Validation + Benefits

Hours: Full-time, Office-Based

About the Practice

A respected and growing St. James’s Place Partner Practice in North London is looking for a Diploma-qualified, CAS Financial Adviser to join their expanding team. The Practice has built its reputation on trust, long-term client relationships, and truly holistic advice.

If you’re an SJP Adviser seeking a role that focuses more on client care than sales, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a practice that values collaboration, professionalism, and the personal touch.

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, the Practice is offering a rare chance to take on a serviced client bank with the scope to nurture and expand those relationships. You’ll work within a highly supportive infrastructure, benefiting from experienced administration and paraplanning support, allowing you to focus on what you do best — providing quality advice.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop an existing portfolio of clients, ensuring their financial plans remain aligned with their goals.
  • Deliver tailored advice across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning.
  • Build long-term relationships based on trust, transparency, and results.
  • Identify and act on opportunities for new business through referrals and recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with the Partner and wider team to deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of SJP products, compliance, and regulatory standards.

About You

  • Diploma (Level 4) qualified with CAS status.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Adviser, ideally within an SJP Partner Practice.
  • Relationship-driven, client-focused, and committed to high ethical standards.
  • Strong technical knowledge across the full spectrum of financial planning.
  • A proactive and collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive environment.

What’s on Offer

  • Salary between £40,000 – £50,000, depending on experience.
  • Additional validation-based earnings.
  • A ready-made client book to service and grow.
  • Full administrative and paraplanning support.
  • A supportive, forward-thinking culture with real career progression.
  • Modern North London offices and a collaborative, professional team.
