Description
Junior Accountant key recponsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and ledgers.
- Collaborate with the accounting team on budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Support audits and implement recommendations for financial improvements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
Profile
A successful Junior Accountant should have:
- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Ambition, hard working, and a passion for career development.
- 3/4 years of experience, preferably at AAT level 4.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- A proactive attitude towards learning and problem-solving.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
