Maintenance Operative
Location: Village location between Aylesbury and Bicester
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £14.06 per hour
Duration: Temp-to-Perm
Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to join our client on an ongoing assignment in a rural location between Aylesbury and Bicester.
This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you’ll play a key part in supporting refurbishment and upkeep tasks. Due to the location, own transport is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out general maintenance and refurbishment duties
• Stripping out old fittings and furnishings
• Cleaning and preparing areas for reuse
• Installing, trimming, and replenishing new materials
• Performing varied repair and maintenance tasks as required

• Supporting with refurbishment works to ensure high-quality finishes
• Ensuring work areas are kept tidy and safe
• Working outside in all weather conditions

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a maintenance role is advantageous but not essential
• Previous experience with carpentry is an advantage
• Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
• Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
