Head of Finance (Commercial) in Farnborough - ONETEN ASSOCIATES LIMITED

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Finance on behalf of our client, a highly regarded Financial Services firm experiencing strong and sustained growth. Offering a hybrid working model (2 days in/3 remote) highly competitive benefits in a very professional and supportive environment.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a fully qualified accountant with a background in the Financial Services industry, looking to step into a strategic role within an established yet dynamic business.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the firm’s financial strategy, working closely with the Senior Management Team to support commercial decision-making and drive business performance.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality financial insight, constructively challenging assumptions, and influencing decisions at a senior level. This is a highly visible role within a successful and collaborative finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the financial strategy aligned to business objectives
• Provide commercial insight to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Evaluate growth opportunities and financial performance
• Support and influence key business decisions with robust analysis
• Contribute to M&A activity where applicable, including opportunity evaluation and deal strategy

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Previous experience within the Financial Services sector
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to think strategically and analytically
• Confident communicator, comfortable influencing, negotiating and challenging constructively
• Highly detail-oriented, results-focused and proactive

This role would suit someone currently operating in a Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partner position who is ready to take the next step into a senior leadership role.
