Marketing Manager in Basildon - Adore Recruitment

Location: Basildon, Essex (or within 1 hour commute)

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 basic + discretionary bonus

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Pattern: Hybrid working negotiable

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

A recruitment consultancy is currently working on behalf of a successful and growing engineering business within the energy and process industries to recruit a Marketing Manager.

This is a standalone marketing role offering full ownership of the marketing function, with long-term scope to build and develop a team as the business continues to expand.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Marketing Manager will play a key role in supporting revenue growth, lead generation, and brand development through a strong B2B marketing strategy.

• Develop and manage the overall marketing strategy, plan and budget
• Deliver B2B marketing campaigns and lead generation activity
• Manage digital marketing, including website content, SEO, email campaigns and online presence
• Produce sales enablement materials to support commercial teams
• Track and analyse marketing performance, reporting on ROI and KPIs
• Ensure marketing activity aligns with compliance and data protection requirements
• Maintain a customer-focused, data-driven approach

• Proven experience in a B2B Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing role
• Experience within engineering, manufacturing, technical or industrial sectors is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing and content strategy
• Comfortable working independently and managing a full marketing function
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and organisational skills

• Competitive basic salary of £40,000 – £50,000
