Corporate Finance Executive in Oldbury - TC Group

We are looking for a Corporate Finance Executive to join our growing advisory team. Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, you will work alongside our Partner, Head of Corporate Finance and Manager on a varied range of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in corporate finance, with meaningful exposure to live transactions and a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will contribute to the full spectrum of our corporate finance work, including:

Supporting management buy-out transactions; Assisting with sales mandates from initial engagement through to completion; Preparing financial due diligence reports for banks, investors and acquirors; Building and maintaining financial models and business valuations; Liaising directly with clients, advisers and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process; Implementing EMI and other share incentive schemes; Advising on EIS and SEIS qualifying investments; You will also support our Head of Tax with advisory work and the drafting of tax reports as required.

About you

We welcome applications from candidates with experience in corporate finance, transaction services or similar advisory environment, ideally within a professional services firm or boutique advisory practice.

The following skills and attributes are important for this role:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including demonstrable experience in financial modelling and business valuations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial audiences.

Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams to tight deadlines.

Commercial awareness, including an understanding of how businesses operate and generate value, and an appreciation of the market factors that affect our clients.

Driving licence and car preferred as requires travel to various client sides.
