Senior Finance Business Partner

Permanent

Based in Brighton (hybrid with 2 days at home)

£60,000 – £69.000 per annum, plus a generous pension, 27 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays), on-site parking, gym access, and additional benefits.

Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join a well known organisation in the Brighton area on a full time permanent contract.

You’ll provide strategic financial leadership, partnering with senior leaders and professional stakeholders to drive financial sustainability, value for money, and the achievement of strategic objectives across the organisation.

This pivotal role will lead the Finance Business Partnering team, ensuring insightful financial advice, robust planning, and effective decision support to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Finance Business Partners, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver financially sustainable strategic and operational plans.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and five-year financial planning across the organisation.
  • Provide financial analysis, insight, and recommendations to inform key decisions.
  • Strengthen financial literacy and capability across the organisation.
  • Ensure effective reporting and data analytics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement and embed best financial practices.
  • Manage financial risks, ensuring value for money and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Requirements

  • Professionally qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW).
  • Proven experience in financial business partnering within a large, complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated success in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
  • Strong leadership experience managing a team of qualified finance professionals.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior non-financial stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with financial planning tools.
