Finance Assistant (Immediate start)
Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with an established organisation in East Grinstead, who are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Assistant to support the team with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. The role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career in finance within a supportive and structured environment.
This is an ongoing temporary position.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase invoices and ensuring accurate data entry
- Raising sales invoices and credit notes
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries
- Assisting with bank reconciliations
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Supporting month-end procedures
- Maintaining accurate financial records and filing
- Assisting with audits and ad-hoc finance tasks as required
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role (preferred)
- Strong numerical and attention-to-detail skills
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Confident using accounting software and MS Excel
- Organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
