Pricing Manager Protection in London - eFinancialCareers

I'm exclusively supporting a leading global reinsurer in the search for a Protection Pricing Manager to join their UK Life division in London.

This is a senior, hands-on role within a highly competitive and dynamic market, offering the chance to shape pricing strategy, lead people, and influence key commercial decisions across Protection business.

The role:
* Lead and review Protection pricing and biometric work
* Manage and develop a team (line management included)
* Oversee delivery of quotes, experience analysis, assumptions, and pricing methodology
* Support commercial negotiations and client-facing discussions
* Drive improvements in tools, processes, and use of new tech
* Collaborate across Protection, Basis, Tools and senior leadership teams

What we're looking for:
* Qualified actuary with UK Protection market experience
* Strong pricing & experience analysis background (reinsurance experience a plus)
* Leadership or mentoring experience
* Ability to interpret financial impacts and balance commercial vs risk considerations
* Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
* Technical capability in Excel; R/Python/VBA/Power BI beneficial
