Debt Advisory Analyst - Leading European Debt Advisor in London - eFinancialCareers

We are working with an industry leading pan-European Debt Advisory firm looking to grow their successful London team at the Analyst level.

The role will comprise advising sponsors and leveraged corporates across Europe on primary debt financings, providing the opportunity to be involved with the whole lifecycle of a mandate.

Analyst Responsibilities:

• Build and review financial models for assessing the viability of transaction structures and determining appropriate debt levels
• Conduct credit analysis and market research
• Work on a variety of debt advisory projects with regular interaction with clients, debt funds, lawyers, banks and advisors
• Involvement in all stages of the financing process and involvement in strategic discussions for debt financing options with the financial sponsor and/or management
• Preparing transaction related documents, including teasers, management presentations and overviews of financing options
• Liaising with banks and debt funds to secure competitive financing packages

Requirements:

• 1-4 years’ experience in Leveraged Finance, Debt Advisory or Private Debt team
• Fluency in English (oral and written) and an additional fluency/native European language is a must
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Ability to build complex financial models
• Organisational and project management skills  
• Strong business acumen with a practical understanding of commercial terms and credit risk
