Bonhill Partners is supporting a leading asset management firm in hiring a Front Office Business Analyst to support the definition and delivery of AI-driven initiatives across the business. The firm is early in its AI journey and is looking for an experienced BA who can help shape direction, define use cases, and enable the responsible adoption of AI in a regulated environment.

This is a strategic role, working closely with Fund Managers and senior stakeholders on the investment floor, with responsibility for translating emerging AI capabilities into practical, well-governed solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess feasibility, value, risk, and regulatory considerations for proposed AI initiatives
  • Analyse and improve Front Office processes to enhance insight and decision-making, with appropriate human oversight
  • Support the design, testing, documentation, and governance of AI tools
  • Contribute to AI governance, risk, and compliance activities
  • Support vendor due diligence, RFPs, and implementation, whether solutions are bought externally or built in-house
  • Collaborate with a small Front Office development team and key stakeholders across the business

Required Experience

  • Strong Front Office Business Analyst experience within asset or wealth management (essential)
  • Proven experience working with Fund Managers and senior investment stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of how AI and advanced analytics can be applied in an asset management context
  • Experience translating new technology into practical, well-controlled solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and workshop facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of AI governance and regulatory considerations

Personal Attributes

  • Pragmatic, collaborative, and able to provide direction as well as delivery support
  • Able to clearly articulate and visualise plans and outcomes
