This is an exciting opportunity for a GCP Data Architect to lead the foundational architecture of a new GCP data platform and landing zone for an insurance data consultancy. You'll design and implement a scalable, secure, and high-performance data environment, leveraging BigQuery, Dataform, and IAM security best practices.

This consultancy specializes in data-driven solutions for the insurance sector, helping businesses unlock insights through cloud-based analytics. With a strong focus on governance, security, and scalability, they are building a next-generation GCP data platform to support advanced analytics and decision-making.

As a GCP Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing the company's GCP data platform from the ground up. You will be responsible for:

• Architecting and deploying a scalable GCP data platform and landing zone.

• Designing BigQuery-based data warehouses optimized for performance and efficiency.

• Implementing Dataform workflows for data transformation and modeling.

• Defining IAM security policies to ensure access control and compliance.

• Working closely with stakeholders to align architecture with business needs.

• Providing best practices for governance, monitoring, and cost optimization.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Strong experience designing and deploying GCP data architectures.

• Expertise in BigQuery, Dataform, and IAM security.

• Experience setting up landing zones and managing cloud governance.

• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling for cloud-based analytics.

• A strategic mindset with the ability to balance scalability, security, and performance.
