Job Description

Finance Manager – Property Services

Salary: £75,000 - £80,000
Location: London / Hybrid
Contract: Permanent

Want a finance role where your decisions genuinely change how services are delivered?

This isn’t a back-office reporting role. It’s a senior, hands-on finance position where you’ll sit at the heart of Property Services, influencing how millions are invested, how performance is measured, and how leaders make decisions every day.

Recently, the finance team reshaped how operational performance is tracked, introducing clearer KPIs, stronger forecasting, and more commercial challenge. The result? Faster decisions, better control of spend, and clearer accountability across services. This role builds directly on that momentum.

What you’ll gain

  • A visible leadership role supporting a £150m+ operation.
  • Real influence over strategy, investment, and service delivery.
  • The chance to shape how finance partners with the business, not just report to it.
  • Ownership of financial models, performance insight, and decision-making frameworks.
  • The opportunity to lead and develop a high-performing, qualified finance team.
  • Hybrid working and a culture that values accountability, impact, and people.

What you’ll do

  • Be the go-to finance partner for senior leaders across Property Services.
  • Turn financial data into clear insight that drives action, not just reports.
  • Lead management accounts, KPIs, and board-level reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with budget holders, challenging and supporting them in equal measure.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of qualified accountants and analysts.
  • Own budgets, forecasts, business cases, and financial appraisals.
  • Strengthen financial controls, governance, and risk management.
  • Improve finance processes so the team spends less time producing numbers and more time influencing outcomes.

What you’ll need

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA) or CFA.
  • Proven experience in finance leadership and business partnering.
  • Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and challenging constructively.
  • Strong commercial judgement, analytical ability, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience working with UK GAAP / IFRS and audit processes.

Why this role stands out

If you’re motivated by impact, seeing better services delivered because finance asked the right questions and pushed for better answers, this role gives you the platform to do exactly that.
