Data Delivery Lead

Overview

Our client is a large, regulated, consumer-facing organisation undergoing a major data and analytics transformation. They are investing heavily in modern BI capabilities and are seeking a senior Data Delivery Lead to partner with the business and drive high-impact analytics delivery.

This role combines strategic ownership of the BI roadmap with hands-on expertise and strong stakeholder leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver a domain-level BI and analytics roadmap aligned to business priorities
• Act as senior BI partner to key business functions (e.g. Finance, Marketing, Operations)
• Lead and mentor Business Analysts and BI specialists, setting best practices and standards
• Oversee end-to-end analytics delivery (requirements ? build ? UAT ? release)
• Provide expert guidance on BI tools (Power BI or equivalent), including modelling and optimisation
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance in a regulated environment
• Drive adoption of self-service analytics and reduce ad-hoc reporting demand
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement across reporting and analytics

Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in BI / analytics delivery
• Strong background in regulated or complex data environments
• Proven stakeholder management and business-partnering capability
• Hands-on Power BI (or equivalent) expertise
• Experience owning analytics roadmaps and prioritising competing demands
• Strong people leadership and mentoring experience
• Solid understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance

Desirable

• Cloud data platform exposure (AWS preferred)
• Experience in large-scale transformation programmes
