SENIOR DATA ANALYST - 8 MONTH FTC

LONDON - OFFICE-LED (4 DAYS A WEEK IN OFFICE)

Please note, you must be a UK resident with full right to work

ABOUT THE BUSINESS

This leading UK creative advertising agency is known for delivering highly awarded, culture-defining campaigns for some of the world's biggest consumer brands.

Operating at the intersection of creative, strategy, data, and performance, the agency uses insight and analytics to shape big creative ideas rather than treating data as a standalone function. The focus is on long-term client partnerships, not short-term campaign delivery.

The culture is fast-paced, ambitious, and collaborative, with high expectations around thinking quality, clarity of communication, and client impact. This is an environment where data plays a central role in influencing senior decision-making.

THE TEAM

You'll join an established data and insight function embedded closely with strategy, performance, platform, and account management teams. The team works at the heart of client relationships, supporting major global accounts and helping shape campaign direction through insight.

This is a highly visible team within the agency, trusted by senior stakeholders and expected to operate with confidence, autonomy, and commercial awareness.

THE ROLE

This is a senior, client-facing analytical role focused on delivering clear, commercially relevant insight to high-profile clients. Sitting between data, campaigns, and client teams, you'll act as a trusted analytical partner, translating complex performance and web data into compelling, actionable stories.

The role is heavily weighted toward insight generation, reporting, and senior stakeholder engagement, with frequent client meetings and a strong emphasis on communication.

You'll report into the Head of Data & Insight and support the development of more junior analysts within the team.

CLIENT SPLIT

  • Approximately 60% on a priority automotive client

  • Approximately 40% across other major agency clients

The priority account requires regular engagement with senior client stakeholders and represents the core focus of the role.

Key characteristics include:

  • Heavy reporting and insight generation

  • Senior client meetings at least three times per week

  • High expectation to explain data clearly and confidently

  • Fast-paced agency environment with demanding clients

Insight typically covers:

  • Post-campaign analysis

  • Performance optimisation recommendations

  • Trading, forecasting, and forward-looking commentary

  • Support and help develop junior analysts within the data function
