Job Description

Digital Data Analyst - Tagging and Implementation

Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days office)
Salary: Up to 75k + bonus

We are recruiting for a Data Analyst to join a growing analytics function within a fast-paced, commercially focused business. This role is analytically led, with a strong emphasis on customer and marketing insights, alongside ownership of tagging and implementation across digital platforms.

You will be responsible for delivering analysis, reporting, and dashboarding, while also taking individual ownership of GA4 tagging and implementation to ensure high data quality across web and app environments. The role offers exposure to both short-term reporting needs and longer-term strategic projects, with the opportunity to grow into end-to-end ownership of analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver reporting, data pulls, and insight requests across marketing and customer analytics

  • Analyse customer behaviour, churn, campaign performance, and lifecycle metrics

  • Build, maintain, and improve dashboards used by senior stakeholders

  • Own GA4 tagging and implementation, ensuring accurate and reliable data capture

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and senior stakeholders to define tracking and reporting requirements

  • Support data quality improvements across the wider business

  • Contribute to and gradually take ownership of larger analytics and insight projects

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis

  • Hands-on experience with GA4 tagging and implementation (GTM experience preferred)

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in customer and marketing analytics

  • Experience working with dashboards and reporting tools

  • Confident stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Python experience is desirable but not essential

Interview Process

  • First-stage Teams interview focusing on experience, technical skills, and project work

  • Second-stage presentation interview (brief provided in advance)

  • Final sign-off discussion

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically driven individual who wants to combine hands-on analysis with ownership of tagging and implementation, while developing towards larger strategic analytics projects in a collaborative team environment.
