Finance Business Partner in London - Halliday Marx

One of our professional services clients need a qualified Finance Business Partner with professional services experience. You must have worked for a business where revenue is billed by the hour (e.g. consulting, legal, advisory, accountancy, engineering, architecture).

Responsibilities

• Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting cycles
• Detailed analysis of utilisation, recovery rates, chargeability and productivity
• Revenue and margin analysis based on billed hours and fee income
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight and challenge
• Headcount planning and cost modelling
• KPI reporting for partners and leadership teams
• Supporting pricing, resourcing and capacity planning decisions
• Improving FP&A models, reporting packs and forecasting accuracy
• Ad-hoc commercial analysis to support strategic initiatives

Requirements

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA) qualified
• Strong FP&A professional with relevant experience
• Background in professional services with hourly billing / time-recording
