Pricing & Commercial Analyst in London - Ambition Europe Limited

This amazing law firm are looking for a Pricing & Commercial Analyst to join their Finance team in this newly created position. This role acts as a business partner and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, with the primary objective of optimising profitability at a client level. You will add commercial value through financial analysis, pricing best practices, and supporting strategic initiatives across the business.

Key Responsibilities for this Pricing & Commercial Analyst role -

• Develop pricing best practice processes to support finance colleagues across the network.
• Manage a portfolio of clients from a commercial perspective; advise on value-add options beyond rates.
• Maintain pricing models used across the business.
• Conduct financial analysis for client pitches, onboarding, and ongoing client management.
• Maintain and improve client and rate information in commercial databases and finance systems.
• Produce commercial reporting to support long-term profitability goals.
• Assist with operational improvement projects focusing on data analysis and process optimisation.
• Respond to pricing and commercial queries, introducing structure and automation where possible.
• Review commercial terms for new and existing client arrangements to ensure strategic alignment.

Key Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders with data-driven insights.
• Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex issues to financial and non-financial audiences.
• Methodical approach to solving complex problems; adaptable and collaborative team player.
• Results-driven with strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Quick learner of new IT systems.
• Experience in pricing (B2B or professional services preferred).
• Qualified Accountant (beneficial but not essential).
