Job Description

PRODUCT ANALYST

SALARY UP TO £65,000

LONDON - HYBRID

We're looking for a Product Data Scientist to join a growing Insights team within a consumer-facing, digital product environment. In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of data, product, and experimentation - partnering closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Machine Learning teams to deliver insights that shape product direction, user experience, and commercial outcomes.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited to someone who enjoys owning a product area end to end, working autonomously, and using data to influence decision-making in fast-paced, evolving environments.

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a go-to data scientist for a core product area, developing a deep understanding of user behaviour and product performance
  • Provide actionable analytics and insights to support product and business decisions
  • Design, monitor, and evaluate A/B tests and experiments, from hypothesis definition through to post-test analysis and recommendations
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, and platform teams to ensure high-quality, scalable datasets
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting that enable self-serve, data-driven decision making
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical stakeholders
  • Balance user impact with commercial outcomes, helping teams understand trade-offs and opportunities

YOUR SKILLS:

  • Strong SQL skills with experience querying large, complex datasets
  • Basic working knowledge of Python for analysis or experimentation
  • Experience with A/B testing design, execution, and interpretation
  • Familiarity with ETL workflows and debugging data quality issues
  • Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to link data insights to business outcomes
  • High level of ownership, organisation, and proactivity
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
