Description

Role Purpose:

1. Receiving incoming goods from supplier delivery drivers and couriers. Checking the delivery documentation and actual goods for the correct quantity and quality, against the Company's order specification. Assisting in physically unloading goods from the delivery vehicle, if necessary at times.

2. Using handheld devices, 3M CleanTrace Hygiene tester and other IT equipment to record data on provided Warehouse Management System (WMS).

3. Labelling accepted goods with a unique identification for traceability. Booking accepted goods in to their allocated warehouses and shelf locations. Building and setting up equipment. Placing goods in their shelf locations in an orderly and safe manner.

4. Maintaining orderliness and cleanliness within the warehouse areas. Ensuring maximum shelf-life, by protecting the stocked goods from factors that could result in unintended deterioration.

5. Participating in rolling stock checks and investigating any discrepancies.

6. Issuing equipment from stock to occupational health and social care equipment prescribers arriving at the warehouse in person. Recording the issuing of equipment in the stock management system, against receipt of approved orders.

7. Answering routine queries from internal and external contacts, with respect to the physical stock availability and condition status.

8. Liaising with technicians regarding the issuing of telehealth and sensory impairment components and devices.

9. Process orders and pick loads for delivery emphasizing on quality and completeness of picked equipment, liaising with Delivery Service management.
