We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Cloud Business Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to join HSBC's Chief Technology Office (CTO) as a Business Manager for the Microsoft Azure and Power Platform team. The CTO's mission is to deliver world-class products that colleagues and customers want, need, and can self-serve, while directly delivering value faster to businesses and functions that rely on CTO expertise.

In this role you will:
- Coordinate supplier third party engagement management activities, using HSBC approved vendor management tools.
- Respond to information requests from internal teams about our suppliers in a timely manner, referencing internal and external documentation / reports to facilitate answers.
- Provide operational oversight and support for license procurement and annual commercial planning.
- Identify and pursue sustainable cost saving opportunities.
- Own the global workforce management activities for the team, aligning to Group strategic plans.
- Manage and coordinate regular internal customer forums, collaborating with contributors to prepare papers, record and distribute meeting minutes.
- Manage and coordinate monthly team collaboration sessions.
Skills Required:
- Professional experience in a large organisation preferably in an IT department or shared service organization
- Proven track record in an Operational, Planning or Financial management role.
- Experience with Third-party risk management and vendor management ideally with experience of commercial negotiations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to internal audiences and can positively influence, engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
Ideal Skills:
- Knowledge of cloud platforms including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud offerings.
- Experience of leading or supporting Workforce Management activities or recruitment
- Familiarity with key tools including Pioneer, Discover, GPDM, Clarity, Jira and Confluence.
