Customer Care Administrator

Location: Worcester

Contract: Full-time, Temporary role with potential to become permanent

Salary: £23,000–£28,000 DOE

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Customer Care Administrator to join a busy and growing team based in Worcester. This is a temporary position designed to support the Customer Care function during a period of growth, with potential to transition into a permanent role for the right individual.

This role is ideal for someone highly organised and detail-focused who enjoys supporting customer-facing teams, keeping processes running smoothly, and contributing to a positive customer experience behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to the Customer Care team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Processing customer orders received via email and internal systems
  • Managing and responding to customer queries, escalating where required
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records across internal systems and CRMs
  • Supporting the Customer Care team with inbox management and call follow-ups
  • Coordinating with internal departments such as Warehouse, Purchasing, and Finance to support order fulfilment and customer requirements
  • Assisting with reporting, data entry, and document management
  • Supporting outbound customer communications such as order updates, sample follow-ups, and general account administration
  • Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks as required to support the wider team

What We’re Looking For

  • A well-organised and reliable individual with strong attention to detail
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with computer systems and internal platforms
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively
  • Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer support role (preferred)
  • Experience using CRM or order management systems (beneficial)
  • Fluent in English
  • A supportive team player with a positive attitude
