A leading global placement and advisory platform is seeking an accomplished Private Credit Investor Relations professional to join its London team. Its private credit practice spans direct lending, mezzanine, distressed and special situations, specialty finance, and opportunistic credit. Role Responsibilities
In this role, you will take direct responsibility for leading and executing private credit fundraising campaigns for global investment managers. Key responsibilities include:
- Run end-to-end fundraising processes across private credit strategies, ensuring disciplined execution and clear momentum.
- Engage directly with institutional LPs including pension funds, insurers, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, and consultants.
- Lead investor outreach, manage pipelines, host update calls, and track engagement across full campaign cycles.
- Act as a strategic advisor to GP clients on messaging, market positioning, timing, and engagement strategy.
- Prepare and refine pitch materials, DDQs, data rooms, performance analyses, and other fundraising collateral.
- Work closely with senior leadership to shape how managers articulate their value proposition and differentiation.
- Manage complex campaign timelines, ensuring alignment across internal distribution, analytics, and marketing teams.
- Coordinate multi-touchpoint campaigns spanning several geographies.
- Deliver regular reporting, insights, and updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
- 4-12 years' experience in private credit investor relations, fundraising, project management, or distribution.
- Preference for candidates with placement agent or fundraising advisory experience, but not essential.
- Demonstrable track record in managing investor outreach and running processes autonomously.
- Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
- Polished communication skills and the ability to create, refine, and deliver high-quality pitch materials and investor documents.
- Strong understanding of private credit strategies such as direct lending, mezzanine, distressed, structured credit, and specialty finance.
