Job Description

Company Overview
A leading global placement and advisory platform is seeking an accomplished Private Credit Investor Relations professional to join its London team. The firm has established itself as a premier partner to alternative investment managers, having raised over $50 billion globally. Its private credit practice spans direct lending, mezzanine, distressed and special situations, specialty finance, and opportunistic credit. The team has supported fundraising efforts for top-tier platforms globally.

This environment offers significant exposure across strategies, geographies, and institutional investor types - ideal for someone who wants to deepen their expertise and step into a highly visible, client-facing role.

Role Responsibilities

In this role, you will take direct responsibility for leading and executing private credit fundraising campaigns for global investment managers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Run end-to-end fundraising processes across private credit strategies, ensuring disciplined execution and clear momentum.
  • Engage directly with institutional LPs including pension funds, insurers, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, and consultants.
  • Lead investor outreach, manage pipelines, host update calls, and track engagement across full campaign cycles.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to GP clients on messaging, market positioning, timing, and engagement strategy.
  • Prepare and refine pitch materials, DDQs, data rooms, performance analyses, and other fundraising collateral.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to shape how managers articulate their value proposition and differentiation.
  • Manage complex campaign timelines, ensuring alignment across internal distribution, analytics, and marketing teams.
  • Coordinate multi-touchpoint campaigns spanning several geographies.
  • Deliver regular reporting, insights, and updates to clients and internal stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate

  • 4-12 years' experience in private credit investor relations, fundraising, project management, or distribution.
  • Preference for candidates with placement agent or fundraising advisory experience, but not essential.
  • Demonstrable track record in managing investor outreach and running processes autonomously.
  • Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
  • Polished communication skills and the ability to create, refine, and deliver high-quality pitch materials and investor documents.
  • Strong understanding of private credit strategies such as direct lending, mezzanine, distressed, structured credit, and specialty finance.
