Senior Credit Controller

London City (3 days office/2WFH)

£45,000

We are exclusively recruiting for a global shipping company based in the City of London who are going through a period of transition. They are looking to recruit a Senior Credit Controller to work alongside a Credit Manager. They are looking for someone who is an experienced credit controller who enjoys problems solving and query resolution. Alongside day to day credit control duties you will be working on a project to resolve unallocated cash and aged debts going back over the past 10 years. It is a complex industry and needs someone with patience, resilience and good people skills.

Going forward the role will develop to support the credit manager during a period of transition.

Key duties

  • Chasing outstanding debts / global multicurrency ledger
  • Unpicking a backlog of aged debts and unallocated cash
  • Extension liaising with internal business to gain help resolving queries
  • Reconciliation, adjustments, writes off etc
  • Future involvement with process improvement in the department

Requirements

  • Multicurrency/global credit control experience
  • Ideally experience of working in a complex industry
  • Good excel skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Patience and resilience
  • High energy & self motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Looking for someone on short notice or immediately available
