Job Description
Our client, a well-respected Lloyd’s broker based in the heart of the city has an exciting permanent job opportunity available for an experienced IBA Credit Controller. The main purpose of this role is to maximise the cash flow to the business and to support the IBA Manager.
As an IBA Credit Controller your core duties will include:
- Credit control - via telephone calls, emails and occasional face to face meetings
- Investigating and resolving credit control related queries
- Allocating cash receipts against premiums and claims
- Processing payments of premiums and claims to clients and underwriters
- Preparing aged debt reports and providing MI for the IBA Manager
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Assisting with Month end closing and reporting
- Building excellent working relationships with the claims and broking departments
To be considered for this excellent opportunity you will have extensive experience working in a similar role within the insurance/Lloyd’s market and be able to prioritise tasks to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved.
