Job Description

The Opportunity

Working closely with senior HR team members, the HR Coordinator will play a key role in delivering efficient and professional HR support across the business. The role covers a wide range of HR activities, from onboarding and payroll administration to policy management, recruitment coordination, and employee engagement.

This varied and fast-paced position offers the chance to get involved in broader HR projects, such as wellbeing initiatives, performance reviews, and benefits administration. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys being at the heart of an HR team and is looking to grow their career within a supportive, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes, and leavers.
  • Maintain HR systems and ensure data accuracy across the organisation.
  • Support payroll and benefits administration, including pensions, healthcare, and wellbeing programmes.
  • Prepare contracts, offer letters, and HR documentation.
  • Schedule interviews and liaise with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Generate reports, track probation reviews, and monitor key HR metrics.
  • Provide general HR and administrative support, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Assist with HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, and policy updates.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Previous experience in an HR administration or coordination role, ideally within professional services.
  • A solid understanding of HR processes and the employee lifecycle.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a positive, professional attitude.
  • Confidence with HR systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

This role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to be part of a close-knit HR team in a respected, people-centred firm. It's ideal for someone looking to develop their HR career and gain exposure to a wide range of activities within a supportive environment that values initiative, professionalism, and collaboration.
