Summary

The Business Support Executive will lead on a range of business support functions, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office and contributing to the successful delivery of the wider business plan. This role supports the Business Support Partner and works closely with colleagues across their London office.

Role Purpose

To provide high-quality administrative and operational support to the business, enabling effective performance and the achievement of organisational goals. The role contributes directly to the success of the business by delivering reliable, professional, and proactive support.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Office Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the office, including liaison with building management and external suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, including sustainability and net-zero initiatives.

Process & Systems Support

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of key processes, such as financial procedures, IT systems training, management systems and health & safety requirements.

Administrative & Document Production

  • Prepare, format and produce documents and reports to a high standard.
  • Provide a broad range of general administrative support as required.

Diary, Travel & Event Coordination

  • Arrange meetings, travel, accommodation and internal events.
  • Support teams with effective diary management and logistical planning.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Support

  • Build constructive working relationships across the business.
  • Provide support to colleagues across various teams, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Liaise with colleagues in other office locations as needed.

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Strong keyboard skills with good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively, prioritise tasks and seek support when needed.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrates initiative, willingness to learn, and readiness to take on new responsibilities.
  • A collaborative team player with a professional approach.
  • Ability to build relationships and contribute positively to wider team objectives.
  • Shows ownership and accountability in day-to-day responsibilities.
