Job Description

Key Details:

Role: Executive Assistant
Location: London
Contract Type: Permanent
Industry: Financial Services
Days in Office: 5 days
Salary: Up to £90,000 DOE

Role Overview:

A prestigious financial services firm in the heart of London is entering an exciting period of change following an upcoming departure. As a result, the business has a genuine blank canvas to reimagine the future of its senior support and operations function. As a starting point, the firm is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support to the CEO in both a business and personal capacity.

This has not historically been a 1:1 EA role, and as such, the firm is keen to meet superstar EAs who can demonstrate what best-in-class, high-touch CEO support truly looks like. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the role, set standards, and bring structure, insight, and polish to the way senior support is delivered, with the longer-term potential for the position to evolve as the business grows and the right partnership is established.

This is a highly trusted and visible position, requiring exceptional judgement and discretion. You will work closely with the CEO and be a key point of continuity within the business. You’ll be joining a high-calibre, close-knit team with a supportive and professional culture, within a firm that values loyalty and is known for its long-term commitment to its people. This is a rare opportunity for an EA who is excited by influence, ownership, growth, and the chance to help shape something meaningful from the ground up.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing high-level, confidential 1:1 support to the CEO in both a business and personal capacity
  • Managing complex diaries and inboxes with absolute discretion
  • Coordinating international travel, detailed itineraries, and logistics
  • Preparing and organising senior-level meetings
  • Preparing CEO internal and external communications
  • Acting as a key gatekeeper, sounding board and trusted point of contact internally and externally
  • Coordinating and supporting company events
  • Supporting the running of the corporate Foundation
  • Providing ad hoc administrative and operational support as required

Skills & experience:
  • Proven experience supporting at 1:1 CEO or C-suite level
  • Exposure to high-performing, fast-paced environments
  • Exceptional organisational skills, judgement, and attention to detail
  • A confident, polished communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy and ambiguity, and helping to define best practice
  • Discreet, professional, and commercially astute
  • A strong track record of longevity and commitment in previous roles
