Quest Search and Selection is currently recruiting an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in coordinating daily store operations and leading the sales team, ensuring exceptional customer service and a consistently positive brand image to drive sales and profitability in this highly desirable central London store location.

This international premium retailer & brand has been established for over years and has continued success in Europe & Asia. This store provides an exciting array of luxury products and a premium experience with their carefully edited collection of their European merchandise including handbags, accessories & travel.

Responsibilities of this Assistant Managerposition:

  • Delivered a professional, engaging customer experience through strong product knowledge, demonstrations, and effective upselling.
  • Managed customer enquiries, complaints, refunds, and exchanges in line with company procedures.
  • Monitored shop-floor activity to ensure exceptional service standards and compliance.
  • Tracked sales performance against targets and communicated trading impacts to management.
  • Processed deliveries maintained accurate stock control and conducted stock counts.
  • Supported visual merchandising, signage, and store presentation to maximise sales.
  • Assisted with training, coaching, and motivating the sales team to maintain high performance.
  • Opened and closed the store, completed banking, audits and administrative tasks accurately.
  • Ensured security, loss prevention, health & safety compliance, and high housekeeping standards.
  • Maintained professional conduct, punctuality, and appearance in line with company policies

To be successful in this Assistant Managerposition:

  • Previous experience as an assistant manager, deputy manager, or supervisor in a customer-facing retail environment
  • Physically capable of prolonged standing, bending, and regularly lifting large items
  • Used to working towards sales, stock, and service KPIs
  • Confident computer user with Microsoft and reporting tools
  • Fully flexible to work Monday to Sunday
  • Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong people management and leadership skills, including training and performance management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
