Commercial Account Executive – Wigan – Negotiable + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

Carlton Young is helping a Wigan-based commercial insurance team recruit a New Business focused Commercial Account Executive. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their own portfolio of clients and work closely with a dedicated broking and claims support team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of new business.

• Build relationships with introducers and clients.

• Advise clients on quotations, coverage requirements, and renewals.

• Enhance client coverage where appropriate.

• Ensure accurate and compliant documentation.

• Negotiate competitive terms with underwriters.

• Meet income and retention targets.

• Support team and management objectives.

Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of commercial insurance products across multiple lines.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• IT and broking software proficiency.

• Confidence in liaising with stakeholders at all levels.

• Full UK driving licence desirable.
