Group Financial Controller

Bristol (with some travel)
Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum (depending on experience) with car allowance of £6,500 plus Bonus.

We have a vacancy for a Group Financial Controller who's equal parts strategist, leader, and problem-solver. You'll be the go-to person for turning complex financial data into smart business moves, helping steer the company towards its goals with confidence and clarity.

This role is all about impact, driving performance, guiding decision-making, and leading a brilliant finance team that keeps everything running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Owning the budgeting and forecasting process from start to finish - accurate, on point, and aligned with the bigger picture.
  • Leading the finance team - developing and supporting
  • Overseeing monthly accounts and reports, ensuring deadlines are smashed and accuracy is non-negotiable.
  • Managing cash flow, tax, audit, and risk - keeping everything tight, compliant, and forward-thinking.
  • Working closely with senior leadership to turn financial insight into strategic decisions.
  • Building strong relationships with banks, auditors, and external partners, representing the business with professionalism and confidence.
  • Constantly improving processes and controls to make things slicker, smarter, and stronger.


What You'll Bring
  • Solid experience in a Financial Controller or Management Accountant role
  • Multi-site experience
  • Engineering / Manufacturing experience
  • ERP change experience.
  • People management experience
  • Experience working with auditors
  • Fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA / AAT)
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Tech confidence - Excel, Power BI, ERP/MRP
