Care Assistant Rapid Response in Sheffield - Hales Group

We are looking for Home Care Assistants / Carers / Care Workers to join our Rapid Response team in Sheffield.

Duties will include responding to short notice care needs, hospital discharges, and supporting the team with care planning, assessments and quality checks. If you're passionate about making a difference and thrive in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you.

• Sheffield S35, Chapeltown, High Green
• Shifts available*
• Block shift
• 2 week rolling rota
• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday Thursday and Friday.

Your Role as a Home Care Assistant

As a Home Care Assistant, you’ll support individuals in Sheffield to live independently in the comfort of their own homes. Every visit is an opportunity to make someone’s day brighter and yours more fulfilling.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with personal care routines (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Supporting medication and meal preparation
• Helping with light domestic tasks and grocery needs
• Providing companionship and emotional support

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• No experience necessary, we have had people join from hospitality, retail, and customer service backgrounds
