The Role:
We are seeking an Experienced Bookkeeper to oversee and manage our financial operations. This is a key role, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cash flow monitoring and day-to-day accounts operations. You will work closely with the MD and ensure the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly accounting responsibilities and
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records for the company, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage company cash flow.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting to help the company make strategic financial decisions.
- Provide general HR and admin support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or similar role with hands-on experience in finance.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software Sage, Xero and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in managing financial transactions across multiple currencies and countries.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all financial records.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related AAT/ CIMA is a plus, though equally Qualified by Experience is considered.
- 5 years bookkeeper experienced required

Job Type: Full-time / Office based / Near Manchester City Centre / Cheetham Hill area
Pay: £35,000 -£38,000.00 per year
Must live in commutable distance to Cheetham Hill Manchester.
