Residential Childcare worker roles are available in Edinburgh upto £18-p/hr. Choose your own schedule, and work as often as you like based on your availability! Make a real difference in the lives of young people, supporting them to have a safe and fulfilled childhood!
Part-time and full-time hours are available by booking your own shifts through our app and catching up with your own dedicated consultant. Work at the same service or try out lots of different ones!

A successful residential childcare worker will be responsible for:

  • Implement behavioural management techniques and promote positive social skills.
  • Maintain records of the children progress and behaviour.
  • Advocate for the children needs and rights.
  • Organise activities to promote socialisation.
  • Ensure a safe and clean residential environment.

To be successful in your residential childcare worker application, you will:

  • Have previous 6 months prior experience in the UK working in a residential setting with young people aged below 16 years
  • Have flexibility in the roles undertaken
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Register under the PVG scheme
  • Full driving license(Required)
  • Obtained, or working towards SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent desirable
