Commercial Account Executive – Burnley – Negotiable + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

Carlton Young is supporting a Burnley-based commercial insurance team with the recruitment of a New Business focused Commercial Account Executive. This role offers the chance to build your own client portfolio, work closely with introducers, and liaise with Account Executives and support teams to deliver outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a personal pipeline of new business opportunities.

• Build relationships with introducers and clients across the region.

• Advise clients on new business quotations, coverage requirements, and renewals.

• Work with clients to enhance and expand their insurance coverage where appropriate.

• Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.

• Negotiate competitive terms with underwriters.

• Meet income and retention targets while adhering to compliance requirements.

• Support management objectives and mentor colleagues as required.

Skills & Experience

• Solid knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in IT and insurance broking platforms.

• Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

• Full UK driving licence preferred.
