Job Description

Our exclusive client based on the outskirts of Bolton are looking for an Accounts Manager. This business has grown year on year and are now entering an exciting time as they are launching a new arm to this company which will in turn grow the turnover even further.

Duties include:

  • Full responsibility for the day to day bookkeeping duties
  • Produce monthly management reports
  • Producing and analysing the profit and loss and balance sheet
  • Monthly reporting on spend and profit
  • Purchase ledger duties including ensuring suppliers are paid within their agreed time
  • Sales ledger – allocating payments to customer accounts and raising bills and invoices when needed
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Any other duties that fall under the accounting remit

Previous experience of working within a SME business would be desirable where you will have done a varied role and be used to being the main point of contact for accounts. You need to be a confident communicator with a friendly approach to work who has a real love for number and accounting.
