Location: Hertfordshire

Salary: Circa £35,000

Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5:30 pm

About the Mortgage Loan Processor:

You’ll be at the heart of the mortgage application process, managing enquiries, liaising with brokers, clients, and lenders, and ensuring cases progress smoothly through to offer.

This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, the ability to manage their own diary and deadlines, and previous administration experience gained with a mortgage broker or from a property finance background.

Responsibilities of the Mortgage Loan Processor:

• Requesting references relevant to each application (from lenders, accountants, solicitors, etc)
• Logging new Enquiries and updating the various spreadsheets needed in the Residential Dept
• Compiling updates to send to brokers and clients throughout the application and offer stages, but also chasing relevant parties for updates.
• Following up cases with lenders, clients, & Brokers
• Ensuring the CRM system is regularly updated with the correct details and that the cases are up to date.
• Answering inbound calls
• Inputting enquiries into the CRM system for advisers
• Checking documentation on cases to ensure correct and in line with what has been requested
• Instructing and managing the valuation process for certain lenders

Experience required for the Mortgage Loan Processor:

• Previous experience within administration roles is essential, and experience in the financial services industry, specifically mortgage admin with a broker or property finance
• Mortgage packaging experience
• Good communication skills
• Team player
• Proactive and able to identify and highlight areas of improvement
