Finance Manager – Stock, Costing & Capex.
This is a
key role where you’ll take ownership of stock, costing, and capital expenditure processes - bringing fresh ideas, driving improvement, and helping shape the financial future of a business that’s investing for growth.
What You’ll Be Doing: - Lead and improve all inventory and costing processes – including valuation, provisions, adjustments, and write-offs, ensuring compliance with both UK and US GAAP
- Streamline BOMs and maintain accurate standard costs that truly reflect operational performance
- Take the lead on inventory counts across multiple sites and liaise directly with auditors
- Build strong partnerships with commercial and operational teams, embedding a culture of financial control and accountability
- Own all aspects of Capex reporting and control, supporting strategic investment decisions
- Establish meaningful KPIs and variance analysis to drive operational efficiency and profitability

What We’re Looking For: - A qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with proven experience in manufacturing or distribution
- A track record of improving stock or costing controls and delivering operational insights
- Confident working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Skilled in Excel and ERP/ accounting systems, with a hands on, proactive approach
- A natural collaborator with strong communication skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude
