Job Description

Our client is a leading property group located in North London who are recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join their finance team.

Based in in North London, this role offers an excellent benefits package, including private medical insurance, a pension scheme, on-site parking, and ongoing training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bank reconciliations across multiple accounts, handling high volumes of transactions
  • Bookkeeping and journal entries
  • Daily payment runs and payment processing
  • Oversee receivables allocation
  • Prepare mortgage and repayment statements for borrowers
  • Maintain accurate financial records

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ year's experience in a finance or bookkeeping position, ideally within practice or property
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)
  • Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
  • Experience in accounts payable/receivable
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal English skills
  • Accounting or bookkeeping qualifications (e.g. AAT, ACCA foundation) are advantageous but not essential
