Theatre Support worker in Solihull - Randstad Care

We are seeking a proactive Healthcare Assistant/Theatre Support Worker to join our Theatres department in Solihull. This vital role supports our clinical team and ensures the smooth delivery of high-quality eye care.

You will be responsible for a range of duties, including:

• Preparing and maintaining the theatre environment and equipment.

• Assisting with patient care, from admission and pre-operative checks to post-operative support.

• Acting as a circulating support person for the scrub team.

• Managing administrative tasks and monitoring departmental supplies.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a basic standard of education with proven literacy and numeracy. You should be a caring and compassionate team player with a strong understanding of patient confidentiality. While prior healthcare or theatre experience is a plus, full training will be provided.
