  • Coordinating project meetings and preparing meeting notes where required.
  • Reviewing drawings, technical reports, and supporting documents.
  • Preparing Planning Appraisals, Planning Statements, and other written reports.
  • Completing and submitting planning applications and associated documentation.
  • Monitoring consultation responses and coordinating actions with clients and project consultants.
  • Assisting with negotiation of S106 obligations.
  • Reviewing decision notices and conditions, and preparing applications to discharge planning conditions or obligations.
  • Managing condition/obligation discharge processes.
  • Supporting additional planning-related tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a private sector planning environment (consultancy or client-side).
  • Working towards MRTPI accreditation or already MRTPI qualified.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, maintain client relationships, and work collaboratively within a small team.

This role would suit a proactive planning professional looking to advance their career with a supportive consultancy offering genuine responsibility, project variety, and progression.
