RoleWe are seeking a confident and detail-focused Accounts Assistant who can hit the ground running and support the team across a range of core accounting tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities - Processing purchase invoices and managing supplier statements
- Raising sales invoices and assisting with credit control
- Reconciling bank accounts and assisting with cash flow monitoring
- Supporting month-end processes, including accruals and journals where required
- Assisting with expense processing and company credit card reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Providing general administrative and finance support to the wider team
- Assisting with ad hoc finance tasks and projects as needed
Desirable Skills & Experience - AAT qualified, or working towards
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using Excel and accounting software
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage workload independently
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Experience in a growing or fast-paced environment is advantageous
