Role
We are seeking a confident and detail-focused Accounts Assistant who can hit the ground running and support the team across a range of core accounting tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase invoices and managing supplier statements
• Raising sales invoices and assisting with credit control
• Reconciling bank accounts and assisting with cash flow monitoring
• Supporting month-end processes, including accruals and journals where required
• Assisting with expense processing and company credit card reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Providing general administrative and finance support to the wider team
• Assisting with ad hoc finance tasks and projects as needed

Desirable Skills & Experience

• AAT qualified, or working towards
• Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar finance role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident using Excel and accounting software
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage workload independently
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
• Experience in a growing or fast-paced environment is advantageous
