Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Oxford
Salary: £26,500 per annum

This role is responsible for the packing and shipment of products, ensuring efficient stock handling, accurate documentation and safe, compliant dispatch. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Warehouse Operative supports daily operations across packing, stock movement and logistics coordination.

Key responsibilities
  • Pack all goods for shipment, following FIFO stock systems and manual handling procedures.
  • Manage shipping processes with carriers such as DHL, FedEx and UPS.
  • Support stock management using Bills of Materials and ensure accurate ERP data entry.
  • Generate packing slips and ensure packaged goods meet specifications and shipping requirements.
  • Complete final inspections before packing and ensure goods match picking lists, including serial number checks.
  • Reduce shipping costs and minimise damage through correct packing methods.
  • Monitor packaging materials and reorder when required.
  • Maintain a tidy, organised shipment area with clear package traceability.
  • Liaise with Sales and Operations Planning to prioritise daily packing tasks.
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements and participate in regular training.
  • Assist with goods receiving, production kitting and stock counts when needed.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Organised, tidy and able to manage workload effectively.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic team player committed to high standards.
